Book Review on Shreya Chatterjee's MUSINGS OF A WANDERER

MUSINGS OF A WANDERER
by SHREYA CHATTERJEE (A collection of eighty five poems)

For I write, what I see and speak of things I feel.
Indeed, ‘Musings of a Wanderer’ stands true to its name.
A poet with an in-tune mind that has the guts of speaking liberally, generously, and freely from her heart.

It starts with an awesome introduction:
“A wanderer at heart ~ penning down poems…
In celebration of seasons and monsoon the most…
Poems of thoughts and relationships…”
>>~~> we can actually make out, poems finding their place (each one of them) righteously in this book.

These eighty five poems… will surely make a special place in your heart and will make you crave to read them again and again (every now and then…)
The inspiration behind these poems is only one of its kinds.

Things we hardly watch or tend to ignore are well observed by the poet.
Be it about: the shawl makers of  Kashmir, a toddler in love with newspaper and forgotten pens, abandoned slippers of a mother, that someone sitting alone in a park, a speechless girl with a brilliant smile, rain dancers, rendezvous with Sunday, raindrops, quite afternoons, wishing for a free fall, or in love with monsoon >>~~>
The poems are intriguing, fascinating, and absorbing.

Some of them are interestingly inspired by paintings, images, animated character, myth, wishes, dreams, and hopes. Some are dedicated aptly.

Two cups of coffee is my personal favorite :)

This collection beautifully ends with ‘We shall meet in a place’…
We will Shreya ~ in our enchanting society ~ Everyday…

My Rating: ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

>>~~>OVERVIEW>>~~>

MUSINGS OF A WANDERER speaks volumes about the simplest of things that quietly becomes a part of our life.
It speaks of failing and triumphs.
letThe poet speaks of expressions of living moments and of those that are perhaps never to see the light of the day.

A must for everyone …
  • All budding poets…
  • Poetry Lovers
  • Creative minds … and so on…
