Book Review on Ruchita Mishra’s THE (IN)ELIGIBLE BACHELORS

THE (IN)ELIGIBLE BACHELORS
By RUCHITA MISHRA

The (In)eligible Bachelors is a laugh riot from beginning to end.

Hilarious would be an understatement.

It’s simply unputdownable ... fast, witty, & relatable characters.

The first book ever, which made me laugh out loud at oh-so many points.

Kasturi’s diary is one chronicle that every bachelor would like/love to read.

Please Note: Seeing my late night reactions, my mom is now reading it after almost a decade. The sights of her reading, laughing and smiling throughout surely makes this book a treat for everybody.  I wish this chronicle turn into a major motion picture one fine day.

This is what my mom had to say: Recommended for ~everyone~
Seeing my son smiling and laughing throughout reading this book, I couldn't resist. So, I started reading it too. After a decade I was reading and I'm glad I read this one. I really loved Kasturi's mom as I could easily relate to so many friends of mine, which was really funny. Well-defined characters, very humorous, it is actually fast paced. I loved this book, my first book by an Indian author.
My heartiest congratulations to Ruchita!

~Overview~
Arranged marriages are complicated things. So are mothers. And so are relationships.

Kasturi Shukla is a fresh MBA graduate with a great job in hand. She is also geeky and single at twenty-four. The biggest sore spot in Kasturi’s life is her dominating, arranged marriage obsessed mother now hell-bent on getting her married at the earliest.

Does Kasturi find love in one of the rather weird but IIT/IIM boys that Mum manages to ‘shortlist’? Or perhaps she can follow her wildly beating heart that seems to be set on the Greek God incarnate that her boss, Rajeev sir, is?

With office buddies Ananya and Varun by her side, the hilariously fumbling Kasturi embarks on a rip-roaring journey to find Mr Right.

The (In)eligible Bachelors, which chronicles Kasturi’s daily diary through this time, is a riotous adventure of adrenaline, laughter and guffaws.
